New numbers are in for Housing and 2017 and the surprising thing that I see is that listing totals for the area are up over the same period with almost a 5% improvement over 2016 numbers. Inventory has been one of the biggest complaints that I have heard about the Richmond market this spring but this shows that there were more houses for sale than last year. Pending home sales are up from 2016 by 6.74% and sold are up a whopping 9.81% over last year.The condo/townhouse market has been even better with listings up 14.74% over last year, pendings up 16.82% and sold units up 21.25% over last year.
